Instant I-9 is made available through the first federally approved Designated Agent
for employment verifications of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA). Instant I-9 checks DHS and SSA databases and provides immediate and accurate verification and tracking of a new employee’s legal right to work and confirmation that correct Social Security Numbers are being used.

To begin, follow these steps:

1. Download the Program Registration Form.
2. Return the completed Program Registration Form.

3. You will receive via email or fax a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that outlines the Instant I-9 service and each party’s responsibilities. WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS, fax the Signature Page from the Memorandum of Understanding to 877.262.4949. Upon receipt of the Signature Page, we will countersign and
forward to the DHS/SSA.

4. WITHIN 72 HOURS, an acknowledgment from the DHS/SSA is received that your company is registered. We then activate you on the system and mail you a CD-ROM
that contains user guidelines for the Instant I-9 system and posters that are posted for employees. With this package, you will also receive your Company ID, User Name and Password information.


5. When you receive this packet of information, you can immediately begin to utilize the Instant I-9 system.
